PracticeOS Frequently Asked Questions

Not at all. PractisOS™ is theme-agnostic, meaning it can be integrated into any existing WordPress website or theme.

It’s not a pre-built template or external platform — it’s a modular system made up of plugins, tools, and configurations developed specifically for healthcare and dental practices.

Our team handles the entire setup, ensuring it works seamlessly within your current site’s design and structure.

The PractisOS™ Toolkit is a curated suite of WordPress plugins, integrations, and configuration systems that bring advanced functionality to your website — including scheduling, patient portals, billing, telehealth, and more.

Everything is configured, tested, and managed to meet the operational needs of modern healthcare practices.

Our pricing is completely transparent. PractisOS Pricing

PractisOS™ includes a $1,250 one-time setup fee and a recurring monthly fee over 12 months, depending on your selected package (Starter or Pro).

A one-time payment option is also available for clients who prefer to pay in full and save.

The 12-month payment term is designed to make PractisOS™ more accessible for growing practices while aligning with how software and IT services are typically billed.

Rather than paying everything upfront, this arrangement spreads the total cost across manageable monthly payments—similar to a software licensing or service agreement.

Because PractisOS™ is structured as a software licensing arrangement, many clients are able to treat their payments as a business expense under software, technology, or IT service categories.

This differs from traditional website development, which is typically classified as a capital expense and depreciated over time.

By treating PractisOS™ as an operational software subscription, your monthly payments may qualify as fully deductible in the year they’re incurred rather than being amortized across several years.

Tax treatment can vary based on your business structure and location. Please consult your CPA or tax professional to confirm how this applies to your specific situation.

Most PractisOS™ implementations take 6-8 weeks, depending on the complexity of your site, integrations, and migration needs.

We handle installation, configuration, testing, and training to ensure a smooth transition without disrupting your existing website or operations.

Yes. We can migrate existing patient records into PractisOS™ or connect directly with your current Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for deeper synchronization and continuity of care.

Migration and integration services are available at an additional cost and vary depending on the source system, data volume, and overall complexity of your setup and security requirements.

PractisOS™ is built using privacy-focused architecture and can be configured to meet HIPAA standards when paired with our compliant hosting and security protocols.

Full HIPAA setup and BAA documentation are available as an additional service and cost.

Your monthly PractisOS™ plan includes system updates, plugin maintenance, security monitoring, and technical support & training throughout the 12-month term.

We handle all core updates and ensure your toolkit stays stable, optimized, and secure.

Pro clients also receive advanced feature updates and dedicated support for telehealth, billing, and automation.

Beyond the initial 12 months, ongoing updates and support are available through our maintenance service plans, ensuring your system continues to evolve and perform long after setup.

Unlike many other platforms, we don’t lock you into long-term or indefinite contracts where the provider owns your website and data. With PractisOS™, you retain full ownership of your website, content, and patient records.

PractisOS™ is an add-on system installed on your existing WordPress site, giving you complete control and freedom. You’re never tied to a proprietary platform — it’s your system, your data, and your decision how to manage it.

At the end of your 12-month payment term, you’ll have full licensing rights to your PractisOS™ setup and will have satisfied all obligations for setup, hosting, and maintenance.

After that, you can choose to transition into one of our ongoing maintenance plans for continued hosting, updates, and support, or manage and host the system independently under your existing license.

Your website and all associated data remain fully owned and accessible to you.

We don’t have to host your website, but hosting with us allows us to extend the 12-month payment arrangement for your PractisOS™ setup and ensures your site is properly setup with the necessary hosting and server-side safety protocols for managing patient data.

If you prefer, you can pay in full and retain full hosting ownership rights from day one.

Please note that because of the toolkit’s integrations, privacy protocols, and security requirements, your self-hosting environment must meet specific technical criteria.

Our team can assist you in selecting, reviewing, and setting up a preferred hosting option that meets those standards.
