The Challenge
As EMI expanded, their leadership library outgrew traditional LMS platforms. Their content was structured around session-based learning, conversation prompts, slide presentations, facilitator notes, and curated learning paths — not linear video courses or SCORM packages.

We designed and built a fully custom membership environment that functions as a hybrid between a learning management system, a resource library, and an organizational leadership portal.
This wasn’t made from a regular theme. We built it from the ground up in WordPress so EMI could have a system that works exactly the way they need it to.
A system made to match how EMI teaches
Custom Learning Library Built for Session-Based Teaching
EMI’s lessons don’t work well in a normal online school system, so we built a custom library just for them. We created special content types that let EMI organize their slides, notes, guides and sessions in a neat and simple way. This lets EMI teach the way they like, instead of being forced into a basic “one type of course” setup. The system can grow as much as they need it to, so they can keep adding new lessons, new formats and new learning paths without any limits.
Made for students, teams and big organizations
Enterprise-Level Membership Architecture
We built a membership system that works for all kinds of users. Some people join alone, some join through their company, and some are coaches or providers with special access. The system uses smart rules to make sure each person only sees what they are allowed to see. This helps EMI work with large schools, companies and groups while keeping everything safe, clear and easy to manage.
A simple and friendly place for people to learn together
Branded Portal & Member Dashboard
We created a clean, easy-to-use portal using BuddyBoss so members have a nice home base when they log in. They can quickly find their sessions, learning paths and saved items. We also added community areas, profiles, activity feeds and messaging so groups can interact and stay connected. This design makes EMI’s training feel smooth, modern and welcoming for everyone.
